HISTORY
Cultural heritage
It all began in 1900 when Éric’s great-great-grandfather bought a family farmhouse and planted his first vineyard. Successive generations continued to plant and the vineyard grew. The production was then vinified by the local wine cooperative in Barjac.
When Romain became a farmer at the age of 21 and set up his own business with his father in 2019, a new spirit arrived on the farm. Gabriel (Eric’s father and Romain’s grandfather), a retired farmer, encouraged Romain to set up his own winery and become a winemaker!
When Romain became a farmer at the age of 21, he set up his own business with his family. The adventure began in 2021 when planning permission was granted for the winery. Work began in January 2022 and by 1 September 2022 the winery was ready to receive its first grapes. No sooner had the work been completed than the first white grapes were pressed… It wasn’t all plain sailing, but we made it! The wines fully express their origins through balance and freshness. The 2022 vintage was born… And so were we!.father in 2019, a new lease of life arrived on the estate. Gabriel (Eric’s father and Romain’s grandfather), a retired farmer, encouraged Romain to set up his own winery and become a winemaker!
Today
More than ever, we strive to nurture the diversity of the land that our ancestors bequeathed to us, with care and humility. The young, freshly planted vines are growing peacefully, the wines are developing a delicate patina in the cellar, and Coralie has joined the estate to look after the sales cellar, develop the commercial activity, and bring us her good humour!
