WINEGROWING FAMILY
ARDÈCHE WINES
BARJAC
For the love of our land
Our history is rooted in a farming family tradition, where passion and love for the vine have been passed down from generation to generation. This heritage is so precious that we feel it is essential to perpetuate their savoir-faire and pay tribute to their enlightened and sustainable vision of viticulture. With rigour and humility, we craft timeless wines that reflect the authenticity and finesse of our terroir, without artifice or compromise.
The fruit of our terroir
From the vineyard to the cellar, every effort is made to create wines that are vibrantly expressive, expressing the quintessence of a great terroir.
Barjac, between
Rhône et Languedoc
Situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Massif Central, our estate is surrounded by the vineyards of the Rhône Valley to the north-east and the Languedoc to the south-west. In this temperate Mediterranean climate, the proximity of the Cévennes mountains increases the temperature range between day and night. This allows the grapes to optimise the development of polyphenols, sources of aroma, colour and structure.
Cultivating the essential
Cultiver l'essentiel
Our vineyard is on a human scale (34 hectares), giving each plot the time and attention it deserves. We are convinced that the key to creating great wines lies in the care taken at every stage of the process …
Cultural heritage
La culture en héritage
Domaine Audu is a family dream that dates back to 1900 and will come true in 2022! It all began in 1900 when Éric’s great-great-grandfather bought a farmhouse called “Le Mas de Reboul” and planted his first vineyard.
